En el marco de Voltaje, salón de arte y tecnología se dictará el taller otros urbanos: cartografías del intersticio por Fernando Velázquez, artista Voltaje 2018

Tema del taller

Este taller propone construir de forma colectiva un video – escultura mapeado e interactivo a partir de capturas fotográficas realizadas en el entorno. Durante el encuentro se introducirán herramientas y conceptos en torno al caminar como práctica artística, y del tiempo real como forma discursiva.

¿Quiénes pueden tomarlo?

Todo tipo de público a partir de los 15 años con conocimientos básicos de informática y fotografía.

Fernando Velázquez

Artista visual y curador uruguayo. Sus producción incluye videos, instalaciones y objetos interactivos, performances audiovisuales e imágenes generadas por ordenador. Investiga el entorno Naturaleza/Cultura desde dos perspectivas principales: la capacidad perspectiva del cuerpo humano y la creciente mediación de la realidad por dispositivos tecnológicos. También se interesa por el cruzamiento del arte con la ciencia y la tecnología investigando procesos creativos híbridos.

Posee una maestría en Moda, Cultura y Arte (Senac-SP), un Pós-grado en Video y Tecnologias on y off line (Mecad-BCN) y un Doctorado no finalizado en Comunicación y Semiótica (PUC-SP, 2009-2012). Ha participado en diversas exposiciones tales como: The Matter of Photography in the Americas (Cantor Arts Center, Universidad de Stanford, EUA, 2018), Emoção Art.ficial Bienal de Arte y Tecnologia (Itaú Cultural, São Paulo, Brasil, 2012), Ciberfest (San Petersburgo, Russia, 2012), Mapping Festival (Ginebra, Suiza, 2011), WRO Biennale (Wroclaw, Polonia, 2011), Bienal del Mercosur (Porto Alegre, 2009) y el Pocket Film Festival (Centre Pompidou, Paris, Francia, 2007).

Ha recibido entre otras distinciones el Premio Sergio Motta de Arte y Tecnologia (Brasil, 2009), Vida Artificial (Espanha, 2008), 2008 Culturas (Espanha, 2008), Medias Locativas Art.mov (Brasil 2008). Fue comisario de proyectos como: Periscopio (Galeria Zipper, San Pablo, 2016), Adrenalina (Red Bull Station, San Pablo, Brasil, 2015) y Festival Motomix (San Pablo, Brasil, 2007).
