Presentaci\u00f3n del libro: La condici\u00f3n colombiana: Violencia y consumo cultural global <\/em>de <\/strong>Alejandro Herrero-Olaizola.<\/h3>\n

La condici\u00f3n colombiana examina el panorama cultural de Colombia mediante un an\u00e1lisis en profundidad del desplazamiento, las culturas locales y globales, las violaciones de los derechos humanos y la producci\u00f3n literaria y medi\u00e1tica. Por medio de una exploraci\u00f3n de los procesos culturales que perpet\u00faan el \u201clado oscuro\u201d de Am\u00e9rica Latina para el consumo global, este libro investiga la \u201ccondici\u00f3n\u201d que ha llevado a escritores, cineastas y artistas a adoptar (intencionalmente o no) la incesante violencia de la sociedad colombiana como objeto de su actividad creativa.<\/h3>\n

Al estudiar productos culturales de divulgaci\u00f3n masiva (como narcohistorias, memorias de cautiverio, narrativas de viajes y pel\u00edculas), Herrero-Olaizola ofrece un enfoque hemisf\u00e9rico del papel que desempe\u00f1a Colombia en la producci\u00f3n cultural de un continente asediado por el tr\u00e1fico ilegal de drogas. Con este fin, el autor posiciona la \u201ccondici\u00f3n colombiana\u201d dentro de los par\u00e1metros de la econom\u00eda global, a la vez que se centra en la mercantilizaci\u00f3n de la violencia en Am\u00e9rica Latina para el consumo cultural mundial.<\/h3>\n
