Las Clases abiertas, la actividad que naci\u00f3 como una oportunidad para aprender algo nuevo durante la cuarentena se extendi\u00f3 gracias al inter\u00e9s y la participaci\u00f3n de los espectadores y los profesores de cada clase.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Para esta ocasi\u00f3n especial, contamos con la participaci\u00f3n del rector de la Universidad de los Andes Alejandro Gaviria que discuti\u00f3 con nuestra decana Patricia Zalamea y nuestro profesor titular de periodismo Omar Rinc\u00f3n las formas en las que podemos entender y potencializar las humanidades en el siglo XXI.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_video link=&#8221;https:\/\/youtu.be\/PP1Fx9yi4mE&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Las humanidades deben alimentar el quehacer de los cient\u00edficos. Que estas personas se pregunten por el papel y las implicaciones de sus profesiones en la sociedad no es una reflexi\u00f3n accesoria. Sin embargo, y de forma an\u00e1loga, llega a ser reprochable la educaci\u00f3n en la que los estudiantes de humanidades no conocen o ven con mucha distancia las leyes de la termodin\u00e1mica, por poner el ejemplo de nuestro rector Alejandro Gaviria a partir del ensayo \u201cThe Two Cultures\u201d de C.P. Snow. Esta discusi\u00f3n tiene mucha relevancia si se habla de los conocimientos necesarios para plantear acciones frente a problemas como el cambio clim\u00e1tico.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">En la conversaci\u00f3n en nuestra clase 100 tambi\u00e9n se trataron temas como las ventajas y las dificultades de la educaci\u00f3n humanista y sus diferentes modelos, la supuesta crisis de las disciplinas human\u00edsticas y la necesidad de hacer m\u00e1s esfuerzos para pensar las humanidades desde Colombia y desde el \u201csur global\u201d.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Las Clases abiertas de Artes y
