Este concierto del mediod\u00eda trae a Aurelio Caro que interpretar\u00e1n en el piano un repertorio con m\u00fasica de su autor\u00eda.     Inicia sus estudios de piano y teor\u00eda en el Conservatorio de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, en 1989 recibe una beca para adelantar estudios en la Uni\u00f3n Sovi\u00e9tica. Se grad\u00faa en el Conservatorio Tchaikovsky de Kiev, Ucrania en 1996, recibiendo el t\u00edtulo de \u201cMaster Of Fine Arts\u201d como profesor, m\u00fasico de C\u00e1mara y Pianista. Actualmente cursa la maestr\u00eda en composici\u00f3n en la Universidad de los Andes. Desde su llegada a Colombia (2000) se desempe\u00f1a como docente, pianista acompa\u00f1ante e investigador en la Universidad Distrital en la Facultada de Artes. En 2007 ingresa a trabajar a la Universidad de los Andes como docente en el \u00e1rea de Piano Complementario y en el \u00e1rea de Teclados en Producci\u00f3n Musical. La influencia de diversas corrientes y est\u00e9ticas musicales ha permitido que maneje un amplio perfil, lo que se ve reflejado en su aproximaci\u00f3n a la docencia. Domina tanto el lenguaje cl\u00e1sico como el de otras m\u00fasicas como Latin-Jazz y otros. Tiene a cargo, estudiantes de Piano Principal, Piano Complementario, Teclados, electivas del \u00e1rea de Piano, M\u00fasica de c\u00e1mara y diversos Ensambles. Es Pianista repetidor de la clase de Direcci\u00f3n de Orquesta. Lleva una larga trayectoria como pianista acompa\u00f1ante de flauta, cuerdas frotadas, saxof\u00f3n, clarinete, voces y guitarra. En 2013 culmina el proyecto Estudios colombianos para piano con una recopilaci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 600 obras de compositores colombianos para piano. En el \u00e1rea creativa es compositor de m\u00fasica para imagen en los cortometrajes de la realizadora Catalina Santamar\u00eda Luminiscense (2003) y Umbrella House (2012) (New York).
