En el pasado mi\u00e9rcoles 30 de noviembre de 2022<\/strong> se rindi\u00f3 un sentido homenaje al maestro Manuel Cubides Greiffenstein<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>, profesor titular jubilado del Departamento de M\u00fasica<\/strong> de la Universidad de los Andes<\/strong>. Esta recepci\u00f3n fue la antesala del cuarto conciert<\/strong>o en 2022-2 <\/strong>de la Orquesta de los Andes<\/strong> que tuvo lugar en el Auditorio Mario Laserna el mismo d\u00eda a las 7:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

El maestro Manuel fue miembro fundador del Departamento de M\u00fasica de la Universidad de los Andes, profesor titular y director la Orquesta de los Andes<\/span><\/strong><\/a> durante m\u00e1s de 15 a\u00f1os. Tambi\u00e9n fue gestor y director del Sistema Nacional de Orquestas Juveniles Batuta, de la Orquesta de la \u00d3pera de Colombia y de la Orquesta Filarm\u00f3nica de Cundinamarca.<\/p>\n

Vale la pena mencionar que estudi\u00f3 composici\u00f3n y direcci\u00f3n orquestal en la Escuela Superior de M\u00fasica y Arte Representativo de Viena, Austria (Hans Swarowsky, Karl \u00d6sterreicher), en la que se gradu\u00f3 con honores.\u00a0Su carrera como director la ha desarrollado en M\u00e9xico, Venezuela, Italia, Alemania, Austria y Colombia.<\/p>\n
