Astrid Marlene Morales Torres <\/b>es una joven pianista con s\u00f3lida formaci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica e intensa actividad art\u00edstica y docente, estudi\u00f3 en M\u00e9xico<\/strong> con los maestros: Natasha Tar\u00e1sova en la Escuela Superior de M\u00fasica y con H\u00e9ctor Rojas, en el Conservatorio Nacional de M\u00fasica, en donde se titul\u00f3 como Licenciada en Piano. En Estados Unidos, bajo la gu\u00eda del Mtro. Joaqu\u00edn Ach\u00facarro, obtuvo, por Southern Methodist University, los grados de: Maestr\u00eda en Piano; Maestr\u00eda en Piano y Pedagog\u00eda\u00a0 y un Diplomado en Piano. Actualmente cursa el\u00a0 Doctorado en Piano, en Arizona State University con el Mtro. Robert Hamilton.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s de continuar con su doctorado, Astrid Morales es Vicepresidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Maestros de Arizona y miembro activo de la Jornada Binacional de Artistas de Origen Mexicano basados en Estados Unidos. Asimismo fue catedr\u00e1tica en Southern Methodist University;\u00a0 Profesor Asociado en Arizona State University e integrante del ASU School of Music Prep Program.<\/span><\/p>\n

Como pianista, debut\u00f3 a los 8 a\u00f1os de edad y a los 11 tuvo su primera presentaci\u00f3n con orquesta, dirigida por el Maestro. Jos\u00e9 Guadalupe Flores. Ha ofrecido numerosos conciertos y recitales, nacionales e internacionales, algunos de ellos con orquesta, bajo la\u00a0 direcci\u00f3n de reconocidos directores como: Enrique B\u00e1tiz, Eduardo D\u00edazmu\u00f1oz, Paul Phillips, Virgilio Valle, \u00a0 Enrique Barrios, Jos\u00e9 Are\u00e1n, Gabriela D\u00edaz Alatriste, Alfredo Ibarra, Eduardo \u00c1lvarez, Stephano Mazzoleni, Guillermo Quezada, Enrique Radillo, Patricio M\u00e9ndez y Rub\u00e9n Escobar..\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ganadora de diversos concursos, Astrid Morales\u00a0 ha participado en\u00a0 festivales de piano en: M\u00e9xico, Canad\u00e1, Estados Unidos, Italia, Alemania y Holanda. Grab\u00f3 dos discos con m\u00fasica de los compositores\u00a0 mexicanos Ladislao Ju\u00e1rez y Armando Rosas. Ha sido merecedora de importantes becas y reconocimientos como el \u201cPremio de la Juventud del Distrito Federal\u00a0 y el premio\u00a0 Harold Von Mickwitz Prize in Piano\u201d por parte de Southern Methodist University.<\/span><\/p>\n
