[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]El trabajo <\/span>Adaptive Capacity of Farming Communities to Climate Change in the Peruvian Andes (ACCESS)<\/span><\/i> en el que participa <\/span>Alexander Herrera<\/span><\/a><\/span>, profesor asociado del Departamento de Historia del Arte fue escogido para ser financiado por la British Academy.<\/span><\/p>\n

La investigaci\u00f3n, apoyada por el CIC y el Departamento de Historia del Arte, se basa en las necesidades que ya experimentan comunidades del norte de Per\u00fa a causa de la escasez de agua que ha producido el cambio clim\u00e1tico. El equipo de acad\u00e9micos tiene el objetivo de formular estrategias de adaptaci\u00f3n que permitan la continuidad de las actividades agr\u00edcolas de estas comunidades. Para entender mejor los retos de esta problem\u00e1tica y proponer soluciones oportunas, la investigaci\u00f3n combina metodolog\u00edas provenientes de las ciencias sociales, la arqueolog\u00eda y la hidrolog\u00eda.<\/span><\/p>\n
